Drove over to Salton Sea to shoot some video for my website yesterday.  Really wanted to shoot in front of the windmill farm, but it was way too windy.  I think I probably would’ve blown away.  Had to deal with the desert heat, flies, and stink.  I got to shoot some cool stuff anyway.

Went to Roy’s for dinner afterwards and had their yummy blackened ahi tuna.  Unfortunately I didn’t get any good candid shots from the video shoot to post here, but here’s a couple of pics from the day.

Hey guys! Just a little update from me…

I’ve been really busy shooting new content for my website http://www.missluana.com. I wanted to share some sneak peeks and details with you from my latest shoots!

Last week, I flew out to Austin for a day to shoot for Mark Daughn’s educational DVD. Mark is truly my favorite photographer and he always produces stunningly gorgeous images. We did a few sets at this beautiful house and I’ll be featuring those photos exclusively on my website. You really won’t find those sets anywhere else!

This past weekend, I flew out to DC to shoot a ton of cool sets with Vance. We literally shot for three days straight! It was madness, but I loved it. Vance is coming out with a book soon and I’m on a bunch of pages. It’s called “On Location” and features over 40 models that he’s shot in the last 5 years – I’ll post more info later.

I also visited NYC to shoot with Steve Prue and Nicholas, who are both awesome and super sweet. It was my first time shooting with them and I can’t wait to shoot with them again!

Seriously, I love my job. I am so lucky to be able to work with such amazing photographers and travel at the same time.

I did a shoot with Pelicanh and Perry Gallagher yesterday. They are both talented photographers and very sweet and fun to work with. I think the pictures turned out so beautifully – we got some artistic nude shots that I am quite happy with. Hopefully I’ll get to shoot with them again soon. *Fingers crossed*

I’m flying out to Kauai for a week to model for a workshop and shoot with Mark Daughn. I haven’t even finished packing yet and I’m leaving today! I’m really excited…I just love traveling and I especially love going to warm, tropical places. Since I grew up in Hawaii, it’s almost like going back home. Unfortunately I won’t have enough time to really go back home and visit my loved ones in Maui. I just have way too much work to catch up with in LA. I’m also super thrilled because Mark and I have been going back and forth with ideas for our photoshoot. We have so many new ideas that I don’t think we’ll have enough time to shoot them all in Kauai. We may have to shoot some in LA.
