Kauai, Here I Come!

I did a shoot with Pelicanh and Perry Gallagher yesterday. They are both talented photographers and very sweet and fun to work with. I think the pictures turned out so beautifully – we got some artistic nude shots that I am quite happy with. Hopefully I’ll get to shoot with them again soon. *Fingers crossed*

I’m flying out to Kauai for a week to model for a workshop and shoot with Mark Daughn. I haven’t even finished packing yet and I’m leaving today! I’m really excited…I just love traveling and I especially love going to warm, tropical places. Since I grew up in Hawaii, it’s almost like going back home. Unfortunately I won’t have enough time to really go back home and visit my loved ones in Maui. I just have way too much work to catch up with in LA. I’m also super thrilled because Mark and I have been going back and forth with ideas for our photoshoot. We have so many new ideas that I don’t think we’ll have enough time to shoot them all in Kauai. We may have to shoot some in LA.

Rainy Day

So this is how the day starts. My car battery is dead. I’m stuck at my house waiting for roadside assistance. Three hours later I’m finally back in business. Vroom…

I met up with my friend Roxannie at Beverly Center. We didn’t really feel like shopping much so she and I headed straight to Sephora. That’s where I went crazy on her and piled on about a pound of eyeshadow on her lids. That seemed to excite her so I suggested we do a photoshoot since I’m trying to learn how to shoot anyway. Next thing you know we’re at her apartment shooting her in bed with a Tweety Bird stuffed animal. Sounds porno, doesn’t it? Anyway, I’ll save those photos for my own private stash but I did post a closeup makeup shot of her.

We ended up having a total blast. It was really fun playing with makeup and shooting. The day went from shit to woooo-woooo good times!

Russian Muse

I got to shoot the talented and beautiful Mosh for a couple hours today. She was very easy to work with. I’m still learning how to shoot and use my camera (I’m actually pretty clueless) and she was super patient with me. Thanks hun!

We’re going to plan a duet shoot together for our websites. We haven’t got the details down yet but we’re working on it.
